Interview Materials

For all applicants, our office requires you to bring the following items to your first interview:

Official Transcript: An official transcript is issued directly from the law school generating the grade report.  It usually has an official seal and/or a signature of the registrar. You may have the registrar mail the transcript directly to our office or you may bring it to your interview in an envelop sealed by your registrar.

Writing Sample: The writing sample should show substantial legal research and analysis.  It need not be on a criminal law subject, and has no specific length requirement. Please submit what you consider to be the best example of your writing skills.

References: Each reference should have firsthand knowledge of either your legal schoolwork or your performance in a legal position.  Personal references are not desired, nor are letters of recommendation.  Please include a full name, current telephone number, and email address for each reference provided.

Please note you need supply these materials only if you are invited to interview with our office.
