Conviction of Major Gun Traffickers

On June 25, 2013, three defendants – Wilson Laboriel, Dario Wynerman, and Mitchell Collins – were sentenced to significant prison terms after being convicted of crimes related to two gun-trafficking networks that sold more than 110 illegal firearms and more than 1,000 rounds of ammunition. Of the 73 firearms charged in the indictments, at least 11 originated from other states, including 10 weapons from South Carolina and one weapon from Virginia. The DA’s Office has secured convictions against 14 defendants charged in this case.
