NYC Cyber Critical Services and Infrastructure (CCSI) Project

We’re excited to announce the public launch of our NYC CCSI project, in partnership with the New York City Cyber Command and the Global Cyber Alliance. To learn more about CCSI, read our op-ed in The Wall Street Journal.

In NYC, we have outstanding cyber professionals who combat threats from adversaries all around the world.  Working inside every sector of critical infrastructure that we have, these individuals routinely protect their employers and customers from cyber-attacks, and skillfully mitigate the damage when an incident does occur.

But, we’ve learned that while each individual sector is doing its part to keep its piece of our City’s infrastructure safe, there is very little dialogue and cyber-threat information exchange happening across the sectors.

Therefore, over the past year, our CCSI project has quietly brought together individuals from more than 35 organizations, across 17 sectors, to increase communication about cyber risks and lay a foundation to that will facilitate coordination and formal response mechanism in the event of a cyber-attack on any piece of our City’s critical infrastructure.

Now we’re making our efforts public, as we look to create a “team of teams” among New York’s premiere cybersecurity experts. If you are one of those experts, we need your help to leverage existing structures within your business and sector, to create a unified, first-of-its kind, New York City cybersecurity unit. We need you to help us protect against cyber threats by sharing information and best practices, responding to cyber-attacks, isolating the compromised area, and mitigating the damage. We want this to be a City where people and companies can feel confident that their safety won’t be undermined by a simple lack of coordination.

If you are a NYC-based cybersecurity expert who wants to help CCSI better protect our infrastructure and residents, please submit the form below.
