Suspect accused of attacking court officers in Manhattan faces judge 
There was a big show of support for the injured on Thursday morning as suspect Jonathan Wohl was arraigned before being indicted by a grand jury.

“Court officers have the incredibly challenging job of keeping everyone in our courthouses safe, including judges, staff, attorneys, victims, witnesses, the public, and those facing criminal charges. From staffing the main entrances to dozens of individual court parts, they are a universal presence and keep our system moving. We have absolutely no tolerance for any attack on their safety, and the significant charges in this indictment reflect the seriousness with which we are treating this matter,” said District Attorney Bragg.
Contractor sent to prison for stealing workers’ wages 
Alvin Bragg, the Manhattan DA who prosecuted the case, said Cole had used the money to “purchase lavish personal items”. He said: “Every worker in Manhattan deserves to receive each dollar they make, and my office will continue to create accountability for those who jeopardise that. We were also proud to use our Stolen Wage Fund to make these workers whole.”

A construction company owner has pleaded guilty to stealing wages from engineers and laborers working on a city-funded emergency project and has repaid the workers in full, the Manhattan D.A.'s Office announced last week.
