A man was sentenced to four and a half years in prison for participating in a dogfighting ring and abusing dozens of dogs in Washington Heights, Manhattan District Attorney Alvin L. Bragg, Jr., announced Thursday.

Man Charged With Hate Crime in Times Square Assault on Israeli Tourist 
A Queens man was charged on Tuesday with several hate crime counts in an October attack on an Israeli tourist in Times Square who was punched in the head by an assailant invoking Hamas, the Manhattan district attorney said.
