Man Convicted of Murder in Fatal Beatings of 4 Homeless Men Click For More

The 12 jurors found that the man, Randy Rodriguez Santos, had intentionally killed the men, rejecting his lawyers’ argument that they must find him not guilty by reason of mental disease or defect. They were strangers to him and simply happened to be sleeping on Chinatown sidewalks that horrific night,” Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg said in a statement. Jurors, who had deliberated for less than a day, declined to comment.

Germaine Parham, 33, was initially arrested back on Feb. 3 in upstate Amsterdam, where police had tracked him down following a lengthy investigation. Police said the suspect had 32 prior arrests on his rap sheet, many of them for robbery.
