Coalition Calls On Legislature To Support Trafficking Survivors By Eliminating Statute Of Limitations 
Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg, Jr., said: “It is long past time for New York State to eliminate the statute of limitations for sex trafficking and child sex trafficking. When we give survivors more time to report, they come forward. Five years is simply not enough – which the State recognized when it eliminated the statute of limitations for serious sex crimes two decades ago. I call on the legislature to help us support survivors and prosecute traffickers: pass this critical bill this session. Bronx Man Who Sexually Assaulted Three People in Inwood Gets 20 Years 
Manhattan District Attorney Alvin L. Bragg, Jr. announced on Wednesday, Jan. 17, the sentencing of Elvis Nina Pichardo, 43, from the The Bronx, to 20 years in state prison and 20 years of post-release supervision for sexually assaulting three people in Inwood Hill Park in Manhattan in July 2021.

“Elvis Nina Pichardo terrified our community when he attacked three different people enjoying a warm summer day in Inwood Hill Park in the span of less than one hour,” said District Attorney Bragg. “As the sentence today makes clear, this type of repugnant conduct will not be tolerated.”

A Bronx man will spend 20 years behind bars for sexually assaulting three people in Inwood Hill Park in 2021, according to the Manhattan District Attorney.
33-year-old New York male posing as an immigration lawyer gained over 10 thousand dollars unlawfully. 
Cuenca (Pablo Israel Ortega Cuenca), male, 33, in New York, obtained several thousands of dollars of unlawful gain in legal fees by posing as an immigration lawyer. On January 11, New York City Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg announced the indictment against Cuenca with [sic] counts of immigrant assistance services in the first degree, two counts of grand larceny in the third degree and one count of scheme to defraud in the first degree in court.
