A 23-year-old woman stabbed an Upper East Side juice shop worker nearly to death who offered her a free drink when her payment was declined, prosecutors said Tuesday. Cha'la Jamison has been indicted on attempted murder, assault, attempted assault and burglary charges in the April 12 attack that left the 39-year-old man in critical condition, Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg said.

A Manhattan court is vacating 316 convictions that hinged on work done by NYPD officers convicted of misconduct, Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg announced on Tuesday. This is the second wave of vacated Manhattan convictions. Courts vacated 188 in November 2022 as part of a project by Bragg’s Post-Conviction Justice Unit, which has reviewed or is reviewing more than 1,100 cases connected to 22 crooked cops.

A 23-year woman who is accused of savagely attacking a worker at an Upper East Side juice bar with a knife in April has been indicted for attempted murder and other charges, the Manhattan District Attorney’s office announced Tuesday.Cha’la Jamison, of Manhattan, has been indicted for allegedly stabbing Luis Morocho Vasquez, a 39-year-old Ecuadorian immigrant, on April 12, about two hours after they got into a dispute at Juice Island, located on 3rd Avenue and 61st Street, when she was unable to pay for her drink.
