“As alleged, Christopher Fox fully equipped himself with an arsenal of materials to operate a ghost gun and narcotics factory out of his home,” said District Attorney Bragg. “His use of 3D printing to manufacture parts for assault-style weapons serves as another example of just how easy and cheap it is to create dangerous firearms in a home or apartment. With just a couple clicks online and a few hundred dollars, these guns can be created without any background check or license. We will continue to crackdown on the polymer pipeline with our law enforcement partners and advocate for tougher laws to stop the proliferation of these weapons.”

“Sharon Godwin allegedly plowed her stolen vehicle onto a crowded sidewalk and injured multiple pedestrians and children. Vehicular violence is a serious threat to the everyday safety of Manhattanites who are trying to walk, bike or drive as they go about their daily lives,” said District Attorney Bragg. “Everyone has a right to safe streets that are free from reckless and dangerous driving.”

“At the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, Anthony Burges preyed on business owners by falsely promising to help them manage costs or reduce their payments on existing debt,” said District Attorney Bragg. “Small businesses from across New York City and the country were forced to close, reduce capacity, or declare bankruptcy as a result of this heartless scheme. My Office will continue to root out fraud in all its forms, which unfortunately spread due to the financial pressures of the COVID-19 pandemic, including PPP and unemployment scams.”
