“Jamel McIver viciously threatened and raped a woman in the building she called home, causing indescribable fear and pain that she and her loved ones still endure today,” said District Attorney Bragg. “I thank this brave survivor for coming forward and sincerely hope the resolution of this case can offer her a sense of justice. Ingrid Lewis-Martin "engaged in a long-running bribery, money laundering and conspiracy scheme" to "illegally influence Department of Buildings and other city decisions in exchange for more than $100,000 in cash and benefits for herself and her son, Glenn Martin II," DA Alvin Bragg said in a filing in state Supreme Court in Manhattan. Supreme Court is a trial court in New York state.

Man accused of killing 3 in Manhattan stabbing spree pleads not guilty to murder charges Click For More

Ramon Rivera, 51, was arraigned in Manhattan Supreme Court on an indictment charging him with one count of murder in the first degree, three counts of murder in the second degree and burglary in the third degree. He appeared in an orange Department of Correction jumpsuit, with bushy hair and a black and gray beard. A Spanish translator interpreted the proceedings for him as he sat silently.
