Ingrid Lewis-Martin, Mayor Adams’ recently resigned chief adviser, used her influence for years to expedite construction projects on behalf of two real estate moguls who in exchange gave her son $100,000 for a Porsche and pledged to invest in his business ventures, according to an indictment unsealed Thursday.

The New York City mayor’s former chief adviser, her son and two real estate investors were indicted on Thursday on bribery and conspiracy charges, a case that comes as the mayor himself fights a separate corruption case and a series of criminal investigations roils City Hall.
Ex-Top Aide to Mayor Adams and Her Son Are Charged in Corruption Case 
Manhattan prosecutors on Thursday charged Ingrid Lewis-Martin, the former chief adviser to Mayor Eric Adams, in a bribery conspiracy in which they said two businessmen gave her and her son $100,000 in cash that her son used to buy a Porsche and other luxury goods in exchange for her intervention with city regulators.

Manhattan District Attorney Alvin L. Bragg, Jr., said: “We allege that Ingrid Lewis-Martin engaged in a long-running bribery, money laundering, and conspiracy scheme by using her position and authority as the Chief Advisor to the Mayor of the City of New York to illegally influence Department of Buildings and other city decisions in exchange for more than $100,000 in cash and benefits for herself and her son, Glenn Martin II. Security Guard Abused 2 Children at UWS Migrant Shelter: Manhattan DA 
Oscar Delgado, 38, who worked as a security guard at the Riverside Terrace shelter on West 88th Street near Riverside Drive, was indicted on two counts of sexual abuse, endangering the welfare of a child, and forcible touching, according to the Manhattan DA.
