Staten Island Man Charged In Unprovoked UWS Assault: DA 
Hansel Esparragoza, a 37-year-old Staten Island man, faces charges of second- and third-degree assault in connection with an unprovoked attack on an 81-year-old West Sider, Guela Levi Freeman, Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg's office announced on Monday.

The man accused of assaulting a senior on the Upper West Side in September was arraigned Monday while the case is adjourned pending a mental health evaluation. Man indicted in stabbing at East Village subway station 
A 27-year-old man was indicted in the stabbing of another man at an East Village subway station in September, Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg announced Wednesday.
D.A. Bragg announces indictment in L train stabbing 
Yesterday, Manhattan D.A. Alvin L. Bragg Jr. announced the indictment of Raymond Kwok, 27, for stabbing a 29-year-old man this past Sept. 20. Kwok is charged in a New York State Supreme Court indictment with one count of Assault in the Second Degree and two counts of Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Fourth Degree.

“Raymond Kwok allegedly stabbed a subway rider in a brutal attack,” said District Attorney Bragg. “New Yorkers relying on public transportation deserve to be safe and violence in our transit system, especially with dangerous weapons, will not be tolerated.
