Woman Indicted for Pepper Spraying Uber Driver on UES 
A woman was indicted for pepper-spraying Shohel Mahmoud, a Muslim Uber driver on the Upper East Side in the early morning of July 31, allegedly because of his religious identity, according to Manhattan District Attorney Alvin L. Bragg, Jr.

A 28-year-old man has been indicted for allegedly breaking into an Upper East Side apartment in the early hours of Sept. 28 and raping a 29-year-old woman, according to the Manhattan District Attorney's Office.

A man accused of breaking into a woman’s apartment on the Upper East Side, then brutally beating, raping and robbing her, was indicted for the crimes, Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg announced on Monday.
