D.A. Bragg Announces Prison Sentences In East Harlem Fatal Shooting 
“Tom Ruiz and Jonathan Tolentino carried out the cold-blooded execution and robbery of 26-year-old Michael Monclus hoping that they could gain status within their gang and pay back their debts. Mr. Monclus was cared for by his whole family, adored his son, and loved to help others,” said District Attorney Bragg. “I send my deep condolences to Mr. Monclus’s family, including his parents, brothers, former girlfriend and six-year-old son, who are continuing to mourn his devastating loss. I hope today’s sentence can provide Mr. Monclus’s loved ones a sense of comfort and closure as Tom Ruiz and Jonathan Tolentino are being held accountable for their fatal actions.”

Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg called for the closing of a legal loophole in New York that allows those charged with rape and other sex crimes to use a victim's intoxication in their defense.
Under pressure, YouTube tightens age limits on gun videos 
Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg (D) reiterated concerns about YouTube’s handling of ghost guns in April, writing in a letter that related videos were being “actively pushed by YouTube’s algorithms to minors who begin watching clips of video games.”
D.A. Bragg Announces Indictment Of Man For Harlem Subway Station Shooting 
“As alleged, Miguel Urena intentionally fired a gun in the direction of a man in a crowded subway station, recklessly disregarding the risk to his fellow New Yorkers,” said District Attorney Bragg. “Although nobody was hit, several individuals had to jump out of the way for safety. The alleged conduct is unacceptable, and we will continue to prosecute those who commit acts of violence in our transit system.”
