West Harlem ‘1’ Train Subway Stabber Indicted for July Attack 
Just like waiting for the arrival of a subway train, sometimes the people have to wait for justice. That’s one lesson to be gleaned from Manhattan District Attorney Alvin L. Bragg Jr.’s recent indictment of Geovalny Alcantara, 20, for allegedly stabbing a 56-year-old man onboard the 1 train at the West 145th Street and Broadway station in West Harlem on July 14, 2025.
Credit card information of thousands of New Yorkers sold on 12 websites, Manhattan DA says 
The domain names of a dozen websites have been seized by the Manhattan District Attorney's Office after an investigation allegedly found the credit card information of tens of thousands of New Yorkers was being sold online.

Manhattan D.A.’s Office Seizes Domains Of Websites Selling More Than 1 Million Stolen Credit Cards 
“The domains seized by my office were used to host sophisticated, structured online marketplaces that exclusively trafficked in stolen information,” said D.A. Bragg. “My office’s Cyber Crime Bureau is actively investigating as part of its ongoing efforts to protect New Yorkers from computer- and cyber-enabled crimes.”
Suspect indicted for stabbing a sleeping man on board 1 train in Harlem 
Prosecutors allege that 20-year-old Geovalny Alcantara stabbed a 56-year-old man on board a 1 train at the W. 145th Street and Broadway station in West Harlem during the morning of July 14. According to the indictment, Alcantara stabbed the man, unprovoked, several times in the head and face with a knife.
Times Square bomb scare: Bronx man indicted in fake pipe bomb plot 
State prosecutors charged a Bronx man Thursday with allegedly placing an imitation pipe bomb outside the NYPD’s Times Square substation last month, forcing an evacuation of the busy tourist hub for more than an hour.
