D.A. Bragg Secures Return Of $170k To Workers In Wage Theft Prosecution Click For More

“George Cole stole hard-earned wages from workers who put hours of dedicated labor into construction projects, using the stolen money to purchase lavish personal items. Now, this defendant will return wages to the very workers he stole from,” said District Attorney Bragg. “Every worker in Manhattan deserves to receive each dollar they make, and my office will continue to create accountability for those who jeopardize that. Man who allegedly beat pregnant woman with pipe in Manhattan grins at arraignment Click For More

According to court documents, a 35-year-old pregnant woman was walking along West 18th Street and 6th Avenue at just after 4 p.m. on May 6 when police say El allegedly attacked her with a metal pipe in an unprovoked attack. The brute bashed the victim over her head, sending her tumbling to the ground.
