“Wilfred Cruz allegedly shot and damaged a storefront belonging to the current boyfriend of his ex-girlfriend,” said District Attorney Bragg. “My office’s Intimate Partner and Sexual Violence Bureau and the NYPD’s 23rd Precinct kept digging, and, as we allege, recovered three operable guns and ammunition, and more than two dozen other weapons from axes to machetes. “A young woman was walking into her SoHo apartment building when Ellow Williams followed her inside, strangled her until she appeared to lose consciousness, and raped her. “As alleged, Gavin Ferguson viciously stabbed two commuters in an unprovoked attack during their morning commute,” said District Attorney Bragg. “This attack, which significantly injured both riders, took place onboard a crowded train, which potentially threatened the safety of surrounding subway riders. Acts of violence within our transit system will not be tolerated and I wish the victims a swift recovery.”
