California man who threatened Jewish subway rider indicted on hate crime charges 
A California man who allegedly threatened a Jewish straphanger on a Manhattan subway has been indicted on hate crimes and harassment charges, the Manhattan District Attorney’s office announced Friday.

“As alleged, Christopher Husary tried to force a Jewish man to comply with his demands by spewing antisemitic comments and threats at him,” said District Attorney Bragg. “We will continue using all the tools at our disposal to hold those accountable who commit acts driven by hate and discrimination. I thank the victim for his bravery in coming forward about these allegations and I urge anyone who believes they have been the victim of a hate crime to call 911 or report it to our Office’s Hate Crimes Unit at 212-335-3100.”

A former Toronto-Dominion Bank employee in its anti-money-laundering department was charged with stealing customer information and distributing it on a Telegram channel, Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg said.

“Marvin Dupree allegedly stabbed a 19-year-old man in an unprovoked daylight attack in the heart of Lower Manhattan,” said District Attorney Bragg. “New Yorkers deserve to be safe on the streets of Manhattan, and random acts of violence will not be tolerated. I hope the victim heals from this brutal assault.”

“This defendant allegedly abused her access while working in TD Bank’s anti-money laundering department to steal from the bank’s own customers. Telegram can be a hotbed for criminal activity, and we have uncovered everything from fraud to the sale of illegal firearms and the financing of terrorism. We will continue to leverage the expertise within our Office to root out any conduct on Telegram that poses a safety threat to Manhattanites and New Yorkers,” said District Attorney Bragg.
Man Indicted For Punching 81-Year-Old Woman on the UWS: Manhattan DA 
A man was indicted this week and charged with multiple counts of assault for allegedly punching an 81-year-old woman on the Upper West Side in September, the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office announced.
