Manhattan DA Charges Crypto Recovery Biz Owner With Fraud Click For More

The Manhattan District Attorney's Office charged Michael Lauchlan with grand larceny in the third and fourth degrees and two counts of first degree scheme to defraud using his allegedly "sham" cryptocurrency asset recovery business, Coin Dispute Network. Prosecutors claim Lauchlan, under a pseudonym, falsely told clients he could locate their crypto funds and could return them for a fee payable in the token ETH.
