“As alleged, Li De Ming attacked a stranger when he pushed him onto the train tracks, putting his life at risk,” said District Attorney Bragg. “Thankfully, the victim was able to return to the safety of the subway platform and avoid further injury. My office will continue working diligently to hold those accountable who threaten the basic safety of Manhattan subway riders. I wish the victim a full and speedy recovery.”

“Jose Rivera threatened and endangered the lives of dogs with this despicable dogfighting ring,” said District Attorney Bragg. “In addition to abusing animals, Jose Rivera knowingly possessed narcotic drugs with the intent to sell them, putting the safety of New Yorkers at risk. Today’s sentencing demonstrates that animal cruelty will never be tolerated in New York.”
