D.A. Bragg: 30 Gang Members Indicted For Widespread Gun Violence Over Six Year Period Click For More

“These groups have allegedly committed fatal and horrific gun violence in Inwood and Washington Heights over the past six years,” said District Attorney Bragg. “I want to be very clear: if you traffic illegal firearms into Manhattan, or use guns to commit violence against fellow Manhattanites, you will be held accountable. We will not accept this type of conduct, which tears at the fabric of our communities. I will continue to work in close coordination with all of our law enforcement partners to address the continued scourge of gun violence and ensure everyone in the borough can live in the safe neighborhood that they deserve.”

“As alleged, Christopher Husary tried to force a Jewish man to comply with his demands by spewing antisemitic comments and threats at him,” said District Attorney Bragg. “We will continue using all the tools at our disposal to hold those accountable who commit acts driven by hate and discrimination. “This defendant allegedly abused her access while working in TD Bank’s anti-money laundering department to steal from the bank’s own customers. Telegram can be a hotbed for criminal activity, and we have uncovered everything from fraud to the sale of illegal firearms and the financing of terrorism. We will continue to leverage the expertise within our Office to root out any conduct on Telegram that poses a safety threat to Manhattanites and New Yorkers,” said District Attorney Bragg.
