D.A. Bragg Announces Hate Crime Indictment of Man For Vandalizing Three Upper East Side Synagogues in 48 Hours

“As alleged, Lenny De La Rosa defaced three synagogues and an ambulance in a series of antisemitic acts,” said District Attorney Bragg. “Synagogues are sacred places where everyone should be able to practice their faith safely. We will not allow our houses of worship to be violated by hateful acts and we do not tolerate bias and antisemitism.”

“We created the Special Victims Division Advisory Council to dig into what’s working, what isn’t working, and solicit feedback from external stakeholders on an ongoing basis,” said District Attorney Bragg. “Strengthening trust with community partners and reducing barriers to services for survivors lead to more reporting and increased participation in the criminal justice process. Through this ongoing collaboration, we hope to share resources, learn from each other, and continue to improve our practice. D.A. Bragg Announces Indictment in Daycare Ghost Gun Bust

“Combatting the proliferation of ghost guns in New York remains one of my office’s top priorities,” said District Attorney Bragg. “Our Ghost Guns Initiative has taken more than 90 ghost gun parts, 70 firearms, 424 high-capacity magazines, and numerous other gear off of our city’s street since its inception.
