Reflecting on 2022, combatting gun violence, and protecting Manhattan tenants
A Staten Island man was indicted on attempted rape charges after he allegedly sexually assaulted a woman on a train in Manhattan, officials said Thursday.
A member of a violent Manhattan robbery crew that targets patrons at Big Apple nightclubs — including gay bars — has been arrested and charged with murder in the overdose deaths of two partygoers, police said Thursday.
“Nobody should have to worry that a night out at a Manhattan bar with friends could end in tragedy. This murder indictment is the result of a long-term and ongoing investigation with our law enforcement partners to keep our city safe. We are continuing to aggressively uncover all of the facts in this case and are in touch with community leaders and elected officials,” said District Attorney Bragg.
“New Yorkers deserve to ride our subways safely,” said District Attorney Bragg. “This alleged behavior is horrific. We will hold accountable those who commit sexual abuse on our trains or anywhere else.”
