“Daryl Campbell used a firearm to target his rival, which led to loss of a life and serious injuries to innocent bystanders,” said District Attorney Bragg. “Gun violence cannot be used as a way to address conflict. The toll of guns continues to be staggeringly high and it is horrific that a night out at a concert ended tragically.”

The Manhattan District Attorney’s Office will continue to protect New York workers and hold bad actors accountable,” said District Attorney Bragg. “I thank the talented prosecutors and analysts and our Construction Fraud Task Force partner, the New York City Department of Investigation, for working to deliver accountability.”  

 “Kamal Semrade now stands indicted on Attempted Murder for an alleged unprovoked attack on a straphanger,” said District Attorney Bragg. “My thoughts are with the victim, whose life is forever changed, and her loved ones. Anyone who seeks to cause harm in our subway system will be held accountable.”
