Ex-JPMorgan Assistant GC Accused of NYC Affordable Housing Fraud Spree

Ex-JPMorgan Chase Assistant General Counsel Jennifer Jacques, who also is a former assistant district attorney in the Bronx, is facing a string of felony charges after prosecutors alleged she conspired with family members to gain access to affordable housing units for which they were ineligible—thereby reaping hundreds of thousands of dollars in improper benefits.

“Jose Rivera threatened and endangered the lives of dogs with this despicable dogfighting ring,” said District Attorney Bragg. “In addition to abusing animals, Jose Rivera knowingly possessed narcotic drugs with the intent to sell them, putting the safety of New Yorkers at risk. Today’s sentencing demonstrates that animal cruelty will never be tolerated in New York.”
