District Attorney Alvin Bragg announced the indictment of a Queens man who allegedly was drunk driving and swerved into pedestrians, and cyclists killing one and injuring others in Gramercy Park.
The allegedly drunk driver who killed a cyclist and injured four others during an evening bender behind the wheel in Gramercy has been indicted on vehicular homicide and manslaughter charges, Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg announced Thursday.

“Particularly in the warm summer months, New Yorkers need to know they can safely use our city’s many beautiful waterfront parks,” said District Attorney Bragg. “This individual allegedly attacked and sexually assaulted a woman in Riverside Park, and then attempted to prevent her from calling 911 by stealing her cellphone. Despite that, this brave survivor was able to call with help from a passerby, and I thank the NYPD for its quick response.”
