Three members of the Big Apple’s public hospitals police force have been indicted for allegedly beating a man outside a Manhattan medical facility last year, and then trying to cover up the assault, prosecutors said Monday.
Jonathan Majors, who was one of Hollywood’s fastest-rising stars before facing misdemeanor domestic-violence charges in Manhattan, was found guilty of assault and harassment on Monday for attacking his girlfriend in a car.
“Today Eleazer Edelstein was held accountable for manufacturing ghost guns in his Washington Heights apartment, threatening the safety of New Yorkers in addition to directly threatening the life of his former girlfriend. Ghost guns are a dangerous loophole in our laws, making it possible for people to create deadly firearms from the comfort of their homes,” said District Attorney Bragg. “Today’s guilty plea further indicates the need for the New York legislature to make the manufacturing of 3D-printed guns and gun parts illegal.”
“A man who went into Bellevue Hospital was allegedly assaulted and left on the street. Furthermore, some of the defendants allegedly attempted to deny and conceal the use of force to evade accountability,” said District Attorney Bragg. “All New Yorkers must be treated with dignity and respect regardless of their needs, especially by the people who are supposed to protect and keep them safe.”
A Manhattan judge has sentenced a doctor to the maximum prison penalty after a jury found the 59-year-old guilty of denying his wife necessary medical care, instead choosing to pump her with a deadly dose of supplements make to treat an ailment she never had.
