DOB supervisor indicted for $75K bribery scheme

A former New York City Department of Buildings supervisor has been indicted on bribery charges after allegedly accepting more than $75,000 in cash and other benefits from three construction industry insiders in exchange for fast-tracking permit approvals across all five boroughs.

Alvin Bragg. “A really perinicious cycle of senseless violence involving seven shootings, one bystander who was struck.” Seven members of the Up the Hill gang are indicted for trying to get guns and urder their rivals in the Down the Hill gang. “Two different housing developments seeing each other as rivals, is a jurisdictional turf.” He says a significant portion of their shooting cases are gang related, but the numbers are declining.

“This indictment alleges a coordinated pattern of violence spanning several months, during which the defendants repeatedly armed themselves and targeted rivals in residential areas, putting countless New Yorkers at risk,” District Attorney Bragg said. “As we further allege, the defendants used social media to provoke rivals, glorify gun violence and escalate tensions, fueling a dangerous cycle of retaliation.”
