Penn Station commuters carved up by a blade-wielding madman in a bloody rampage earlier this month desperately tried fighting back, including one victim who used his backpack to shield the attack, prosecutors revealed Monday.
A 51-year-old man has been indicted on charges of stabbing seven people at Pennsylvania Station earlier this month, Manhattan prosecutors said on Monday.
Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg led a nationwide group of prosecutors in pushing the country’s biggest 3D printer companies to do more to prevent people from using the devices to print their own unlicensed ghost guns at home.
“Hector Deleon is now indicted for this alleged unprovoked stabbing spree in the middle of Penn Station,” said District Attorney Bragg. “I am grateful to the good Samaritans who helped end this attack and the Amtrak police who safely apprehended the defendant when he attempted to flee. We will not accept this type of random violence anywhere in Manhattan.”
