“As alleged, Ramon Rivera committed an unprovoked and violent series of stabbings across Manhattan, taking the lives of three New Yorkers who were going about their day,” said District Attorney Bragg. “These fatal stabbings have shaken our city, and those who commit random acts of violence will face accountability. My heart goes out to the loved ones of those who were tragically and senselessly killed: Angel Lata Landi, Chang Wang, and Wilna Augustin.”

“Jaheem Warren allegedly stalked a young woman for 25 minutes on the streets of Manhattan before he brutally attacked her, throwing her onto a pile of garbage bags and suffocating her,” said District Attorney Bragg. “This alleged conduct is abhorrent. People deserve to be safe when walking through Manhattan, and my Office will ensure accountability for those who commit horrific acts of violence.”

“Anthony Melendez allegedly attacked a 77-year-old woman who was walking home from the grocery store in an unprovoked daylight attack,” said District Attorney Bragg. “Manhattanites deserve to feel safe on the streets of New York, and those who jeopardize their safety will be held accountable. I hope the victim continues to heal from this horrific assault.” 

“Marvin Dupree allegedly stabbed a 19-year-old man in an unprovoked daylight attack in the heart of Lower Manhattan,” said District Attorney Bragg. “New Yorkers deserve to be safe on the streets of Manhattan, and random acts of violence will not be tolerated. I hope the victim heals from this brutal assault.”
