“John Wright stabbed and killed Carlos Rosario during a dispute that started about something as small as a cigarette. John Wright is being held accountable for his actions, but this prison sentence will not bring Mr. Rosario back to his friends and family,” said District Attorney Bragg. “My thoughts are with his loved ones as they grieve his loss.”

“Rasheed Osundairo was held accountable for brutally attacking two strangers at heavily trafficked locations in our city. Furthermore, the attacks left both men with serious and permanent physical injuries, which they still endure today,” Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg said.
