“As alleged, Juan Hernandez sexually assaulted and attempted to rape an 80-year-old woman in a brutal early-morning attack on the streets of Chinatown,” said District Attorney Bragg. “If you or someone you know is a survivor of sexual assault, please call our Special Victims Division at 212-335-9373. I hope the survivor continues to heal from this deeply disturbing assault.”
“Jaheem Warren allegedly stalked a young woman for 25 minutes on the streets of Manhattan before he brutally attacked her, throwing her onto a pile of garbage bags and suffocating her,” said District Attorney Bragg. “This alleged conduct is abhorrent. People deserve to be safe when walking through Manhattan, and my Office will ensure accountability for those who commit horrific acts of violence.”
