A twisted Manhattan financier who preyed on teenage girls fantasized about how he could get away with the sick abuse even after his arrest — prosecutors revealed Tuesday as he was sentenced to 16 years behind bars.
A New York City financier convicted of drugging and raping a teenage girl, creating child sex abuse material and a litany of other offenses committed against minors — including after his arrest — was sentenced to 16 years in prison for his depravity on Tuesday.
Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg said: “The expansion of the Midtown Community Improvement Coalition is a testament to the dedication of its leadership and our partners in law enforcement, city government, and of course, our communities. My office will continue to work hand in hand with each of these critical stakeholders to ensure that Midtown Manhattan is as safe and economically vibrant as we know it can be.”
Local advocates are joining forces with city agencies to expand the Midtown Hub, aiming to build upon successes in tackling safety and quality-of-life issues and collaborating in a more effective neighborhood response.
