A Great Neck man who owns a Brooklyn construction company was one of four people indicted in a scheme where business owners gave bribes to a former New York City Building inspector to fast-track projects, Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg Jr. said on Monday, March 30.

Just before noon on a Sunday in early March, a 30-year-old man was standing on a subway platform on the Upper East Side when he was pushed from behind.

The man accused of pushing an 83-year-old man onto subway tracks, ultimately causing his death a week later, has been charged with murder in connection to the case, Manhattan District Attorney D.A. Bragg announced Monday.
