“As alleged, O.E.D. and their associates terrorized the City’s streets by committing orchestrated and violent gunpoint robberies,” said District Attorney Bragg. “Everybody has a right to walk safely through their neighborhood or to their home.”
“This was a non-sensical and horrific execution-style murder of a father of two,” said District Attorney Bragg. “We will continue to use every lever possible to prevent gun violence. “Luis Acevedo contributed to the proliferation of illegal guns and drug trade by having these dangerous weapons and controlled substances,” said District Attorney Bragg.
“As alleged, Clarkson Wilson murdered Imani Armstrong in cold blood after he waited hours outside her place of employment,” said D.A. Bragg. “My thoughts are with Ms. Armstrong’s family and loved ones, who are experiencing immense pain. We are committed to pursuing full accountability and justice in this case.”
“Bienvenido Liriano sought to flood our streets with dozens of dangerous weapons,” said District Attorney Bragg. “We will not allow our neighborhoods to continue to be ravaged by the proliferation of illegal guns and will continue to work with our law enforcement partners to identify and root out this activity.”
