“As alleged, Domingo Vasquez Rodriguez callously assaulted and then robbed 99-year-old Jose Antonio Tur at gunpoint before fleeing with his cash,” said District Attorney Bragg. “Mr. Tur was a pillar of his community and deeply loved by his family members. I offer all those mourning his death my sincere condolences.”
“As alleged, these defendants conspired to commit four gunpoint robberies across Upper Manhattan within the span of just 24 hours,” said District Attorney Bragg. “The defendants armed themselves with firearms to carry out their conspiracy, and in one instance allegedly committed a shooting on a public street. This type of violence creates an atmosphere of fear for our communities, and I thank our prosecutors and law enforcement partners for putting a stop to it.”
“Zaire Allen and Hassan Winston have been held accountable for murdering Alonza Georgia in a brutal act of gun violence driven by greed,” said District Attorney Bragg. “Gun violence devastates families and causes deep and profound trauma in our communities. I hope the resolution of this case offers Mr. Georgia’s family members, who remain devastated at such an insurmountable loss, a step toward the peace and healing they deserve.”

“Avery Dunning will serve a prison sentence following his conviction at trial for the callous shooting of a woman, who remains paralyzed and under extensive care,” said District Attorney Bragg. “The victim rightfully contacted law enforcement when she believed she heard violence occurring, and her actions in no way should have been met with violence. My thoughts remain with the victim and her family as they continue to recover from the reeling effects of this horrific act of gun violence.”
