“As science advances, so does our ability to solve cold cases,” said District Attorney Bragg. “Here, new technology led to an indictment alleging the horrific murders of a mother and daughter dating back nearly 30 years. Alongside our partners at OCME and the NYPD, we remain steadfast in pursuing justice for New Yorkers, no matter how long it takes.”

“Roland Codrington allegedly wreaked havoc across the city in a crime spree that left two dead,” said District Attorney Bragg. “Manhattanites deserve to live their daily lives without the fear of being attacked. My thoughts are with the families and loved ones of the victims.”

“As alleged, Mr. Rosario’s life was brought to a violent end when he was stabbed following a dispute that started over a cigarette.” said District Attorney Bragg. “Today’s indictment demonstrates we will not accept this violence, and my thoughts are with those grieving Mr. Rosario’s loss.”

“We continue to pursue full accountability for the violence committed by this dangerous drug trafficking group,” said District Attorney Bragg. “Nobody should have to contend with the violence and chaos that is associated with this activity, and we will continue to work with our law enforcement partners to deliver the safe neighborhoods that everyone deserves.” 

“This unconscionable attack nearly took the life of a young man visiting Manhattan for what should have been a joyous occasion,” said District Attorney Bragg. “Everyone deserves to walk the streets of New York City safely and I commend the immense strength of this victim, who recovered from this attack and returned to Manhattan to testify.”
