“Nobody should have to worry that a night out at a Manhattan bar with friends could end in tragedy. This murder indictment is the result of a long-term and ongoing investigation with our law enforcement partners to keep our city safe. We are continuing to aggressively uncover all of the facts in this case and are in touch with community leaders and elected officials,” said District Attorney Bragg.

“Geoffrey Tracy critically injured an unarmed man. This type of violence cannot be accepted, and New Yorkers should know that my Office and our prosecutors are pursuing accountability by bringing these types of cases every single day. I hope the victim can continue to recover from his serious wounds and take a measure of comfort in the justice delivered from this verdict,” said District Attorney Bragg.

“Dwight Williams attacked a fellow New Yorker who was doing his job. We want everyone to feel at home in this borough and we will hold accountable anyone who carries out disturbing attacks like this one,” said District Attorney Bragg.
