NYC expands Construction Fraud Task Force

The Manhattan District Attorney’s Office has added five new state and federal agency partners to its Construction Fraud Task Force, which investigates and prosecutes corruption and fraud in New York City’s construction industry.

Construction execs indicted on numerous criminal counts

For years, executives with JM3 Construction, a New Jersey-based non-union firm, employed workers and subcontractors to put up drywall and do related carpentry work on government-subsidized affordable housing projects worth millions in Manhattan, Brooklyn, the Bronx and elsewhere in the tri-state area.
