“As alleged, Michael Colome brutally attacked a teenage boy on a busy Times Square street,” said District Attorney Bragg. “We allege that he hit the boy so hard with a broomstick that it eventually broke in half from the repeated strikes. My thoughts are with the victim as he continues to recover from his injuries, and I wish him a speedy recovery.”
“Today, Rasheed Osundairo was held accountable for brutally attacking two strangers at heavily trafficked locations in our city,” said District Attorney Bragg. “Furthermore, the attacks left both men with serious and permanent physical injuries, which they still endure today. A man pleaded guilty to a fatal 2022 shooting that killed a 14-year-old boy and injured a 15-year-old in Harlem, prosecutors said this week.
