“I couldn’t control it,” Stephanie Rodas, 21, told The Post about the shaking and flood of tears that came with laying eyes on accused goon and paroled rapist Miguel Jiraud for the first time in a Manhattan courtroom.
Agudelo was transferred to Elmhurst Hospital where she was treated for numerous skull fractures, a puncture wound to her temple and multiple abrasions, according to Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg.
“A 44-year-old woman was riding her bike home from work when Miguel Jiraud allegedly brutally attacked her without provocation. To this day, she remains severely cognitively impaired,” said District Attorney Bragg. “This conduct is abhorrent. I hope she continues to recover from this terrifying assault, and I want to assure New Yorkers that we will ensure accountability for those who commit such acts of violence.”
“Donta King, Jr., will serve a significant prison sentence for tragically taking the life of Ronald Thomas – a father and brother,” said District Attorney Bragg. “This vile act of gun violence against a defenseless man continues to devastate Mr. Thomas’ family and loved ones, who are still struggling to make sense of this horrifying and deadly attack. Combatting gun violence remains the top priority for my office as we work with our law enforcement partners to rid our streets of dangerous weapons and make Manhattan’s communities safer.”
