Ingrid Lewis-Martin, Top Adams Adviser, Faces Fresh Corruption Charges

The Manhattan district attorney’s office announced sweeping corruption charges against Mayor Eric Adams’s former chief adviser and several of her associates on Thursday, unsealing four separate indictments that outlined a series of brazen schemes and painted a damning picture of a city for sale.

“We allege that Ingrid Lewis-Martin engaged in classic bribery conspiracies that had a deep and wide-ranging impact on City government,” said District Attorney Bragg. “As alleged, Lewis-Martin consistently overrode the expertise of public servants so she could line her own pockets. While she allegedly received more than $75,000 in bribes and an appearance on a TV show, every other New Yorker lost out.

D.A. Bragg Announces Indictment Of Phony Investor For Stealing Over $300,000 From At Least Five Individuals

“As alleged, William Julian posed as a wealthy investor who could help fund business ventures, when in reality, he stole more than $300,000 and spent it on personal expenses,” said District Attorney Bragg. “This is an ongoing investigation, and we believe there may be additional victims: please call our Financial Frauds Bureau at 212-335-8900.”
