D.A. Bragg Announces Indictment In $100k Rental Scam

“As alleged, Jerry Genesis took advantage of New York’s extremely competitive housing market to steal hard-earned money from eight individuals who trusted him to find them apartments. Bragg Indicts 15 Persons in Alleged Venezuelan Sex Trafficking Ring

The dark side of love for sale was recently exposed when Manhattan District Attorney Alvin L. Bragg, Jr., Homeland Security Investigations New York Special Agent in Charge Ricky J. Patel, and NYPD Commissioner Jessica S. Tisch announced the indictment of fifteen members of an alleged sex trafficking ring that coerced women to engage in prostitution by paying for their travel from Venezuela to the U.S., and then forcing them to pay off that “debt.”

“Salem Seleiman took part in the repugnant and bias-motivated assault of a Jewish man, who was peacefully attending a rally,” Alvin Bragg, the Manhattan district attorney, stated. He added that “the victim was targeted based on his religion and did nothing to warrant physical violence.”

Midtown rapist in 25-year-old cold case sentenced to 20 years in prison

Jancys Santiago was ordered to serve 20 years in prison, then five years of post-release supervision, Manhattan District Attorney Alvin L. Bragg, Jr. announced in a statement on Wednesday. He was found guilty back in September of rape in the first degree and burglary in the first degree in connection with the 25-year-old case.
