“Particularly in the warm summer months, New Yorkers need to know they can safely use our city’s many beautiful waterfront parks,” said District Attorney Bragg. “This individual allegedly attacked and sexually assaulted a woman in Riverside Park, and then attempted to prevent her from calling 911 by stealing her cellphone. Despite that, this brave survivor was able to call with help from a passerby, and I thank the NYPD for its quick response.”

“As alleged, Patrick Robles viciously assaulted, robbed, and attempted to rape a young woman on the subway as she tried to escape the horrifying attack,” said District Attorney Bragg. “No New Yorker should have to fear riding the subway home. My office will continue to prioritize and prosecute these types of violent attacks.”
“Thanks to the bravery of this young survivor who came forward, we were able to hold Jonathan Luna accountable for his horrific crime,” said District Attorney Bragg. “Based on the charged individual’s employment history working with children in afterschool programs and summer camps, we are deeply concerned that there may be additional victims.
