“As alleged, DiCastro and Cordero ran a prostitution operation that spanned from Manhattan to upstate New York,” said District Attorney Bragg. “Disturbingly, that included the trafficking of at least one child. Manhattan D.A. Alvin Bragg said: “Donovan Murphy brutally raped a nurse who was just trying to get some sleep between her shifts at the hospital. A jury found that he broke into her apartment, beat her until he fractured her skull and split open her mouth, and then raped her. I thank the survivor for her fortitude and bravery taking the stand, and the members of the jury for their careful consideration of this case.”

“A woman was enjoying a sunny summer day in Central Park before Jermaine Longmire tackled her and attempted to rape her. A jury of his peers convicted Longmire for this brutal and terrifying attack,” said District Attorney Bragg. “New Yorkers and tourists alike deserve to enjoy New York’s parks without fearing for their safety. I thank the survivor for courageously recounting the assault and our skilled prosecutors for securing an all-count conviction in this case.”

“Not only did Cecil McKenzie return to the subway after being banned for prior sexual abuse, he did so to commit the same crime,” said District Attorney Bragg. “A jury found he has repeatedly harmed women on the subway, and he will now serve a significant prison sentence.
